The origins of our company begin with a single roofing job in 1988 and a belief that hard work, integrity, and craftsmanship always matter. Founder and CEO Kelly Lanier grew up in a rural community where you earned trust with your hands and kept your word. That mindset has guided his working relationships for nearly four decades.

At just 27 years old, Kelly started building single-family homes with his residential framing company South Georgia Framers, which still operates today across the region. He quickly earned a reputation for consistently delivering high-quality results on schedule. As demand grew, so did the scope of the work: first hotels throughout the Southeast, then large-scale student housing and multifamily developments.

Officially established in 2015, Global Framing is a national framing operation with a prominent presence in Atlanta, Austin, and Denver, delivering complex projects for some of the country’s most ambitious developers with precision, speed, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Still family-owned and operated, our foundation rests on the same principles with which Kelly started his career: show up, do it right, and build things that last.
